It’s unlikely to expect that we’d eat 5 carrots in one day, but a glass of carrot juice would easily use this amount, meaning your body can harness and use the nutrients from 5 carrots with one simple glass of juice. Drinking juice is a simple way to include more nutrients in your diet, increase your energy levels, boost your immunity and nourish your entire body.

Orange You Glad It’s Antioxidant Juice

Juice or blend 1 carrot, 1 red apple, 1 small knob ginger, 1 orange, 3 leaves basil and 1 small knob turmeric.

Antioxidants are found in brightly coloured fruits and vegetables, so rest assured you’re doing something great for your body when consuming colour. In our daily lives, we come into contact with
many oxidants, from our environment (polluted air) and lifestyle choices (cigarette smoke, alcohol). By including antioxidants in your diet daily, you give your body the best chance to fight oxidation and in the long run, avoid chronic disease. Now that’s a delicious detox we can get behind.

Juice or blend 1 handful lettuce, 1 stalk celery, 2 leaves cabbage, 1 handful baby spinach, 1/2 green apple, 1 small bunch green grapes  

If you’ve spent a weekend or holiday indulging, a juice is the perfect way to kick start a detox.Both spinach and apples are rich in B Vitamins, which are crucial for energy production. Spinach is also high in iron, which also helps maintain energy levels. This vibrant blend is chlorophyll-rich, meaning it’s highly alkalising, full of iron and will help to control hunger cravings by stabilising blood sugar levels.

Blend half beetroot, handful raspberries, 1 sprig parsley (leaves removed), half red apple, 1 slice watermelon.

In this juice, parsley acts as natural diuretics that help to flush out excess water from the colon and reduce bloating. Beetroot and raspberry act as an antioxidant, while watermelon and apple juice simply sweetens the deal!
