We’ve coupled a household favourite with an authentic Italian recipe and a HelloFresh twist – prepare to be satisfied!
Ingredients for two people
|1 tbs||olive oil|
|1||brown onion, diced|
|1||garlic, peeled & crushed|
|1 pack||pork mince|
|2 tbs||tomato paste|
|1 tin||diced tomatoes|
|1/2 tbs||dried oregano|
|250 g||linguine pasta|
|1 block||parmesan cheese, grated|
|2 handfuls||mixed salad, washed|
|1 tbs||balsamc vinegar (optional)|
For the sauce
Heat the olive oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Add the brown onion, garlic, and carrot, sauté for 5-7 minutes or until the vegetables have sweated down. Add the pork mince and cook for 3-5 minutes until all of the pork has browned. Add the tomato paste and the diced tomatoes and cook for a further 2 minutes. Throw in the dried oregano and simmer for 10 minutes.
For the pasta
Meanwhile, in a large pot bring some salted water to the boil. Add the pasta to the boiling water and cook for approximately 10 minutes or until al dente, stirring regularly to ensure the pasta does not stick.
Serve the linguini with a good spoonful of the delicious pork Bolognese and a good grating of parmesan cheese. Add a side of the mixed salad drizzled with some olive oil and balsamic vinegar if you like. Enjoy this hearty classic!
