7 winter dishes sure to keep you warm

    When the temperature starts to drop, it’s time for kitchens to heat up with wholesome balanced winter warmers. If you’re one of the unlucky ones that hasn’t skipped off to Europe for summer, then here are a range of winter warmers coming up for you! 

    1. Veggie loaded kale & risoni soup with homemade garlic bread

    We love warm and hearty soups that make us feel cosy and nurtured, just like this flavoursome bowl of goodness. Packed with veggies and risoni and teamed with an easy side of garlic bread, it’s a sure-fire cure for any winter blues. 

    2. Creamy chicken and vegetable pie with cheesy crushed potato topping 

    If we had to choose an entry for the ‘Pie Most Likely to Please’ competition, we’d be nominating this one. It has tender chunks of chicken and veggies cocooned in a creamy sauce flavoured with thyme and mustard, topped off with chunks of tender crushed potato and a cheesy Cheddar crust. It’s a winning combination you can’t help but love. 

    3. Creamy cauliflower & bacon penne

    With its creamy sauce and classic pasta, mac ‘n’ cheese is the ultimate winning family dish – but it needs a little help to transform it into a filling meal. So, we’ve added chunks of bacon and golden roasted cauliflower to take this classic to the next level, plus a fresh side salad to contrast the rich sauce. 

    4. Cheesy red pesto chicken melts

    Our red pesto is a pocket rocket, jam-packed with flavour thanks to sun-dried tomatoes, basil and chargrilled capsicum. Spread it over the chicken breast and sprinkle with cheese to make these irresistible chicken melts, and add some herby potato wedges and veggies to create a meal that’s got ‘delicious’ written all over it! 

    5. Cheat’s Italian pork & veggie bolognese with penne & Parmesan

    Packed with all the rich flavours of a classic Italian sauce, you’ll find it hard to believe this bolognese only took around half an hour to whip up. Silky baby spinach and zucchini melt into the sauce, creating a mouth-watering meal you’ll make time and time again.

    6. Smokey mild chorizo & bean chilli with avocado crema & rice

    A clever twist on a weekday favourite to bring you something new and exciting, with flavours we know you love! Our latest chilli creation is a mix of chorizo, red kidney beans, corn and avocado with the irresistible flavour of our All-American spice blend.

    7. Thai green tofu curry with peanuts & green beans

    Enjoy the medley of fragrant flavours in this green curry with a gentle warming heat. The tofu cubes are fried separately so they get lightly golden, adding a delicious contrast against the rich coconut sauce. With kaffir lime leaves bringing an enticing aroma and crushed peanuts for addictive crunch, this is an easy way to enjoy a taste of Thailand at home.
