No matter how much self control you have, the lure of snacks at work is a siren song hard to refuse. If you must munch, make sure it’s on these healthy work snacks!

These snacks rely on natural sugars, protein and slow burning energy to keep you satisfied. Don’t worry though, they’re all delicious as well!

We love these rich, moist brownies – they almost taste like fudge! Don’t forget to go for a dairy free chocolate with at least 60% cocoa for a full vegan option.

    Ingredients

    – block dark chocolate (at least 60% cocoa)
    – 1 tbsp coconut oil
    – handful raw almonds
    – handful raw cashews
    – 1 cup pitted dates
    – 4 tbs good quality cocoa powder

    Method

Melt dark chocolate with some coconut oil. Blitz almond and cashew nuts until fine. Puree pitted dates with cocoa powder, then combine all ingredients into a shallow baking tray. Refrigerate overnight, then cut into slices. Top with drizzled natural peanut butter, if you like.

Apple Circles with Peanut Butter and Sultanas

So simple and delicious! This is like an all natural cookie – sweet, crunchy and nutty.

Cut the core out of an apple, slice into thick rounds, then top with natural peanut butter and sultanas or chopped dates.

    Edamame

You can find edamame in it’s shell in the frozen section of Asian grocery stores. It’s ready in minutes!

Cook edamame ahead of time in well salted boiling water or according to packet instructions. Shell the edamame, sprinkle with a little sea salt and store in a paper bag.

    Sweet Potato Toast

We love sweet potato toast. It’s sweet, satisfying and can be topped with just about anything. For a low sugar option, top with avocado and fresh bean sprouts or sesame seeds – it’ll leave you feeling on top of the world.

I am more of a savoury snacks type although in saying that, I do like a good moist chocolate brownie 😊

Would love to see a snack box add on! Just like the main meals, ingredients and cards for things we can make for lunch boxes, while cooking dinner.

Love your ideas for snacks, I enjoy both savory and sweet. Your brownie recipe looks really tasty and I will definitely be trying it. I’m looking for the gluten free low carb options for health reasons. Have you thought to add snacks to your menu options for customers to purchase?
